I'm not from here with Isaac Harris
This workshop will consist of an exercise that is about and touches on cultural dispossession either through historical trauma or present alienation. What does it mean to exist as a new constant in a land that is hostile to parts of your existence, that is hostile to the idea of you having a face outside of western society.
It will touch on themes of identity creation outside of white society, alienation within your current society and also from your identity and cultural background. We will use our identity, those memories or stories told once by your elders, your face, and your culture to create a piece of writing that goes against white supremacist hierarchy and culture.
